mweqPituffik (a circa 76°32′N 68°45′Wmwfa76°32′N, 68°45′W) era il villaggio di cacciatori mwfqInuit più a nord della mwfgGroenlandia, finché gli mwfwStati Uniti d'America ricevettero il permesso di costruire la mwgabase aerea Thule nel mwgq1951. Nel mwgg1953, tutti i residenti di Pituffik furono costretti a spostarsi a 130 mwgwkm a nord, nella nuova città di mwhaQaanaaq, conosciuta comunemente al tempo come "Nuova Thule". Pituffik è anche l'unico villaggio groenlandese (al di fuori del mwhqparco nazionale della Groenlandia nordorientale) che non appartiene a nessun mwhgcomune: Pituffik è infatti un'mwhwarea non incorporata, un'mwiaenclave all'interno del comune mwiqAvannaata. La popolazione era di 235 persone nel gennaio mwig2005.
